Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides public access to many court dockets and records, yet each tool answers a different question. The Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search shows hearing settings. A register of actions records the sequence of case events. Filed complaints, motions, orders, judgments, and certified copies come from the Clerk of Court at Ouray Combined Court. District Court and County Court share that clerk office, while the elected Ouray County Clerk and Recorder keeps deeds and other recorded instruments rather than litigation files.
Bringing those distinctions together helps readers avoid the wrong counter or database. It also shows when a matter may belong to the Colorado Court of Appeals, a municipal court arrangement in Ridgway or Ouray, or another court system. Official addresses, contact details, search fields, and request routes are presented as reference information. The court or clerk remains the source that can verify any record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to a Colorado court, clerk, or government agency. Its role is limited.
- We cannot retrieve an official docket or case file for a visitor
- We cannot set, reset, cancel, or confirm a court appearance
- We cannot amend, remove, suppress, or seal a court case
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, judgment, or other court document
- We cannot provide legal advice about a case, deadline, charge, or order
- We cannot promise that a listed fee, setting, address, or procedure remains current
An official or certified Ouray County court record must come from the Ouray Combined Court Clerk or the court that maintains the original file.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes found on some content pages. They operate their own services, choose their own prices, and control their own results. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor follows one of those tools to a paid service, which helps support free access to the reference material. We do not determine the provider's charges, coverage, or result quality.
