Official Ouray County docket questions belong with the court or clerk that maintains the case. The county seat of Ouray is home to the Ouray Combined Court, which serves District Court and County Court matters. Use the routing below for hearing settings, registers of actions, filed documents, and certified copies.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This is a private reference site. We cannot retrieve a docket, set or reset a court date, seal or remove a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. Contact the court clerk for those needs.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Route an Ouray County request according to the record or action needed:

  • A hearing date: check the Court Schedule through the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search, then confirm urgent or unclear settings with the clerk
  • A case lookup: use the Docket Search for a scheduled state-court event by party or case number
  • A register of actions: request the chronological case summary from the clerk or use a Judicial Branch-approved vendor
  • A filed document or certified copy: order it from the Ouray Combined Court Clerk, who maintains the official case file
  • An appeal: District Court judgments generally proceed to the Colorado Court of Appeals; confirm the correct filing and record route with the originating court

The Ouray Combined Court Clerk is part of the Colorado Judicial Branch. The elected Ouray County Clerk and Recorder is a separate county office for deeds, plats, marriage records, and other recorded instruments, not District Court or County Court case files. County administrative writings requested under CORA also follow a different route from Judicial Branch court records governed by CJD 05-01.
